Free Models

Everything here costs nothing to use. Tap any model to start a conversation with it — you will be asked to sign in first, then taken straight to the model you picked.

Two kinds of free

Local models are open-weight files you download once and then run on your own hardware. Nothing leaves your machine and there is no usage meter, but you need the disk space and enough RAM for the model you choose — the download size and parameter count are listed on every card.

Cloud models run on hosted endpoints, so there is nothing to download and they work on any device including phones. They are rate limited rather than metered: fine for everyday use, not for bulk jobs.

Every version stays listed. Model authors regularly ship a newer release that is worse at a specific task than the one before it, so nothing is removed from this list when a successor appears — the version is shown on each card and you can pick whichever one works for you.

Prefer the terminal? `pip install sage-ai-cli` then `sage pull <model>` fetches any local model listed here. The catalog itself refreshes automatically, so newly published open-weight releases appear without an app update.
